Born in Huhudi, Vryburg South Africa the year 1982. Started singing already at High school were he got number of awards. He enrol at the Opera School at the Technikon Pretoria 2001 to 2003. There he participated in productions such as: Mozart’s Die Entfürung aus dem Serail, Lortzing’s Zar und Zimmerman to name a few.
In 2006 he sang the role of Tebaldo in the Opera Africa’s production of Bellini’s I Capuleti E I Montechi, performed in Pro Musica’s production of Mozart’s Requiem. Also The Messiah by Handel.
During 2007 sang the role Gaston in the La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi produced by Classic Music Productions Windhoek, Namibia. He performed the role of King Solomon in the Opera Africa’s production of Princess Magogo by Professor Khumalo in Oslo, Norway. During early 2008 he sang the role of The Messenger in Opera Africa’s production of Aïda by Giuseppe Verdi. In September 2008.
At the end of March 2009, Rheinaldt performed at The Black Tie Ensemble’s 10th Anniversary Opera Gala and in June he sang the role of Raoul de St. Brioche operetta production The Merry Widow by Franz Lehár hosted by Royal Bafokeng Holdings.
He sang with Renee Fleming during her tour at the South African StateTheatre.
In 2010-2011 he joined the cape town opera studio and sang the role: Normano in lucia di lammermoor(donizetti), Gastone la traviata(verdi), the praize singer in mandela trilogy(michael williams), Rodolpho la bohem(puccini), Lost in the stars( Kurt Weill), Carmen (Bizet) just to name a few.
He travelled to Israel to train for three intesive months under Opera Israeli and trained singing with Patricia McCaffrey.
He sang the role of Sortinglife in Porgy and Bess during the Cape town Opera UK tour during 2012 and did the role of Hoffman in the tales of hoffman the same year.2013 he did the role of Bacchus in Ariadne Auf Naxux at the University of Michigan.
