Russian soprano Ekaterina Morozova, alumna of the Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg and the Young Artists Opera Program at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, has been a permanent ensemble member of the Bolshoi Theater since 2016 singing roles such as Fiordiligi (»Così fan tutte«), Countess Almaviva (»Le nozze di Figaro«), Tatjana (»Eugen Onegin«) and the title roles of »Iolanta« and »Rusalka«, just to name a few.
In 2018, she appeared as Nastassja Filippovna in Weinberg's »Der Idiot« at the Mariinsky Theater and made her international debut as Giulietta (»Les Contes d'Hoffmann«) at the Semperoper Dresden and as Tatjana (»Eugen Onegin«) at the Opéra National du Rhin Strasbourg.
Further guest engagements have taken her a.o. to the Sydney Opera House as Countess Almaviva (»Le nozze di Figaro«). Upcoming engagements include Senta in «Der fliegende Holländer» at the Perm Opera Ballet Theatre, the title role of «Luisa Miller» at the Bolshoi Theatre, as well as Tsaritsa Militrisa in »The Tale of Tsar Saltan« at State Opera Hannover 2024.
