Rumanian Tenor Remus Alazaroae (* 1980) is currently a permanent soloist at the National Opera in Timisoara, where he appears in roles such as Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Alfredo (La Traviata) and Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera), among many others.
Further roles include Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Pong (Turandot), Remendado (Carmen), Beppe and Arlecchino (I Pagliacci), Poisson (Adriana Lecouvreur), Duca (Rigoletto),Gabriele Adorno (Simone Boccanegra), and Nemorino (L'Elisir d'amore).
His vocal symphonic repertoire includes the Verdi Requiem, Mozart Requiem, and Rossini's Stabat Mater, just to name a few.
Tours with the National Opera of Timisoara brought him to Italy, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Qatar.
Remus Alazaroae holds the „Lehman Academy Special Prize“ from the International „Debut“ Singing Completion in Germany.
He is an alumnus of the Music University in Timisoara and studied with Corneliu Murgu, Karan Armstrong, Thomas Mosser, Lucia Papa and Viorel Dihel.
In addition to his career as a singer, Remus won five time first place in national competitions as a oboe player, and from 2000 to 2012, he was employed as an oboe and English
horn player in opera orchestras.
